Further adventures of Doing It Wrong-san:
I think she only brought 200 dollars food and spending money. We're in JAPAN.
Don't get me wrong, I empathize with your immediate problem, but when you go around asking for rice, you make me wonder if you knew what you were getting into when you came here. We had to get a letter from the bank saying we had at least 5000 dollars between us and our families' bank accounts. That should have told you something. It certainly hasn't improved your mood, that's for sure.

It's slow.
But it's welcome.
Because I'm quickly running out of patience.

A friend of mine is tumbling down the path to self-ruin and she knows it. She's had three panic attacks today and she very nearly considered ending herself. She knows that's not right, but none of us know what to do.
We're keeping our eyes on her until she can set up an appointment with a professional.
I have traditionally been the one to counsel my friends when they're having trouble. It's ingrained into my personality to want to help people. So I do. I do everything I can until I'm sure they're alright, and if it's beyond my expertise, I recommend them to someone who can help.
And I am ready to fall sideways and sleep, because I have been talking with her since classes ended.

If you can't tell, that's supposed to be a face that's blinking.
I stumbled across something that I thought was podfic. I thought, "hm, never tried podfic before, maybe I'll give it a crack".
It was not podfic. It was more like a drama CD. And by "like a drama CD" I mean someone made an audio track that approximates what would happen if these two characters...yeah, and to top the whole thing off, it was shota. And it sounded like shota. Like, it didn't just sound like a girl, it sounded like S-H-O-T-A shota.
......and it was realistic.
..........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
When I get out of hell, I'm going to be reincarnated as a tapeworm or something.
(Also, I'm not going to say which two characters it was, but it wasn't Kuro *we've already got that in audio form, it's called the corset scene*)

Finished Professor Layton and the Curious Village.
It was sweet. Took a little turn for the weird towards the end there, but it was sweet.
I'll pick up the second game later. For now, I have studying to do. - Tags:game, layton

Where is the logic. Some British film critic said (before the release of the movie, obvs) that a homosexual take on Holmes and Watson "wouldn't work". Okay, yeah, heard that one about eleventy frillion times, but never put quite like this: "There's not a seething, bubbling hunger to see straight stars impersonating homosexuals. I think they're just trying to generate controversy." He added: "They know that making Holmes and Watson homosexual will take away two-thirds of their box office. Who is going to want to see Downey Jr and Law make out? "I don't think it would be appealing to women. Straight men don't want to see it." SEE, THIS IS WHY WE FUJOSHI CAN GET AWAY WITH A NYTHING. NO ONE KNOWS WE EXIST YET.

Mkay self, I know you've been enjoying finally getting around to finishing YGO the Abridged Series, but that does NOT give you the excuse to get this stuck in your head to the point of putting it on your ipod.
BUT IT'S JUST SO DAMNED CATCHY OH GOD MY BRAIN TT_TT

I finally saw the new Sherlock Holmes movie today. Bear in mind that it is 11:45 at night as I type this. ( Cut for spoilers, etc. )

Dear Professor,
While I understand that you might consider a round floor rug to be a bit modern for your tastes, and that the bookshelf we somehow acquired after answering the riddle that girl asked us about the metric system is smaller than the one you have at home, may I add that, should your distaste of my selection of furniture for your room continue, your apprentice is going to end up with all the furniture we acquire, whereupon I will no longer listen to your complaints that the room is "rather empty".
With love,
The one who's spent the last two days arranging your furniture, desperately trying not to use any hint coins, and silently smiling over the enormous crush your apprentice has on you.
God, I love this game. | |

Sitting at my computer, minding my own business, whatever. From down the hall I hear a chorus of squealing so loud I think there's been a badger set loose or something. Like the concerned citizen I am, I open the door to see what the hell is going on.
I see the Shiga-dai students having a conversation.
I swear, for people not remotely interested in anything that would ever have a fandom, they speak fan-squeal quite fluently.
